So, I finally upgraded to GenoPro 2011 recently. Apart from the denser grid and the predefined individual condition colour codes (which I don't use; I use the colour combinations for my own purposes), I haven't noticed much difference from the 2007 version. Something I was really hoping to see (and, I believe, mentioned here before 2011; I don't come around that often, and my search results came back negative, so maybe I didn't) is a way to create custom "Full Name" and "Display Name" combinations without having to enter each individual's name information separately.

In my case, I use GenoPro for a lot of fictional and mythological genealogies as well as my own family tree, and the available options don't really suit my required uses of the various name fields. In particular, I would like to see a set of combinations that display the "Nickname" and "Second Last Name" fields after the "Suffix" field. Providing some sort of main menu bar option (probably in the "Display" menu) to add new combinations to the "Full Name" and "Display Name" lists (via a drag-and-drop interface to place the individual name fields in the desired order) and remove default options that we don't use would be ideal; put a cap on the total number of combinations allowed per family tree, and have the custom combinations stored in the .gno file itself.

Hopefully this is something that other users are interested in as well, and we'll see it in a future version. This is a feature I would happily pay for, but thank you all the same for the free upgrade to the 2011 version.
