When I send the GenoPro
report
to the familytrees.genopro.com server then the
genomaps
are excellent displayed with the Mozilla Firefox on my PC.
See
http://familytrees.genopro.com/Erhardt%20Stiefel/Stiefeltrees/deutsch/default.htm
That means my Mozilla Firefox is o.k. for SVG genomaps !
But when I send the GenoPro report to the server where my own domain is hosted and want to dispal the genomap lateron then the Mozilla Firefox shows: "A Plugin is needed to show these contents." and the link "Install Plugin .."
If I click to the link it results in the message that there is no Plugin available.
A Minute later GenoPro shows this note:
Question: Does the server need also a special software or a plugin for SVG displaying or what may be the reason for that different behaviour?
Another question: Is it possible to
send
a single genomap via email to someone else? Which file(s) have to be send?

Thanks for your hint.
When I sent your answer to my server provider he gave me the problem solution immediately.
The solution was:
I had to add these two statement lines to my .htaccess file
AddType
image
/svg+xml svg svgz
AddEncoding gzip svgz
I hope this will help other GenoPro users with the same problem
