Apologies in advance if this question has already been asked - i've searched with no luck.
I've just downloaded the trial version and I'm really impressed! I was wondering - is it possible to determine the position of
information
that is displayed for the people shown. I would ideally like to have the
occupation
of the
person
in the middle of the gender icon (ie - male), and put the name and
date of birth
above that icon. Is this possible? At present it seems to want to put the age in the middle.
Any
help
much appreciated!
Many thanks
Tim

There are alternative ways of displaying information, accessed from the top menu Display. You can for instance show date of birth at the top. However the possible
options
are many and only a few can be shown.
An alternative approach is to use the XML toolkit, which is accessed from the
Report Generator
as a skin. If this does not give the options you want it is possible to add alternatives, if you are in to coding Java script

Hi Appleshaw - thank you for your swift response. The options you mention (XML and Java) are slightly beyond my knowledge, to be quite honest!
Having the date of birth above totally fits my needs - all i need extra is a way of showing occupation - either inside the icon, or near it. I think I might have solved the problem - I can put the date of birth /
death
, and below it the occupation, in to the comment box and then set the display to show the comment. Short and sweet unless there is a way to get the occupation inside the icon.
Thanks again for your help - really pleased I've found this program!
all the best
Tim
