How do I add a miscarriage? All I see is "new son" or "new daughter"?

I have no idea of the date. Should I just make up a date and then somehow get the date to not be displayed? If I do this, will it show as the miscarriage symbol? (The triangle with an X through it)?

You do not have to enter any dates; I was pointing out that for a miscarriage the two dates would be the same.
Have not seen the miscarriage symbol you describe - The triangle with an X through it - but I do not use the medical toolbar. (even here did not see it) This has a diamond with diagonal line. The standard view shows unknown sex as ? with an X on top but it is up to you how you choose to use symbols - as long as you explain to the viewer - with a Legend if needed

Hi,

Just in case it could be helpful, please find attached a list of standard genogram symbols. Kind regards
