Unable to Check for Updates (connect to genopro site)

GenoPro version: 3.1.0.1

When I select 'Check for Updates' I get a security alert message 'The Certificate Issuer for this site is untrusted or unknown. Do you wish to proceed', I select 'Yes', then I get this message

Connecting to GenoPro.com to determine if a newer version of GenoPro is available for download...

The certificate authority is invalid or incorrect  https://api.genopro.com/ws.asmx
The same thing happens when I try to download new language packs.
