The location of the genogram file I created does not appear "at the home position." If I scroll horizontally and scroll vertically, I can find it. How do I move the entire diagram to the location where the scroll bar is all the way to the left horizontally and all the way to the top vertically?

The program allows me to move the diagram but it shifts away from the home position before I can save the file.

A GenoMap has both positive a negative coordinates and so the origin (0,0) is a the centre of the grid.  This is the natural 'home' position.  If you select all objects (e.g. Ctrl/A) and then click Tools/Balance Tree At Origin then the selection is centred at the origin, 0,0.

If you have View/Status Bar selected you can see the cursor coordinates in the bottom left.

Again, when the horizontal scroll is all the way to the left and the vertical scroll is all the way to the top , the screen is blank. Why? I want to move the diagram and save it, so it appears in that space whenever the file is opened.

I don't understand why it is centered in some random area on the grid. This could be a problem for an instructor who is opening the file and wants to locate and review it. The natural place to find the file would be where the scroll is all the way to the horizontal left and all the way to the vertical top, no?

The point 0, 0 of a Cartesian plan, theoretically infinite, is always at the center of the space.
However, the genogram can be built wherever you want, on the plan. Just remember where, in order to not lose it. To me it seems that the place where it is more logical to look, is the center. But this is only an opinion!
However, GenoPro opens a genogram in the same position and in the same size that was saved the last time.
