Unable to export GenoPro Project as Gedcom Format file due to Urdu...

Hi there,

I am facing a problem kindly solve it.
I installed Urdu Language Keyboard on Windows 7 after this i put name in GenoPro Project with Urdu Language my GenoPro project is working perfectly fine but my requirement is to export it into Gedcom Format, when i click on export into Gedcom format it ask me to tell about charset, i tried many charset given by GenoPro by default but when i click on export button it shows an error "the text you are about to export contains characters (symbols) not available in the alphabet Unicode. Any unknown character will be replaced by the question mark (?.)"..
If i export my project into XML it export perfectly fine even my Urdu language is also fine in XML file but i need Gedcom Format.

Kindly help me out.

Seems likely that you are trying to use the Export to Gedcom built in to GenoPro.  This will not give you a standard useable GedCom file anyway even if it could deal with Urdu.

Have you tried Export to Gedom via the Report Generator?  This exports a UTF-8 encoded file and therefore should be OK with Urdu.  You can find the latest Report Generator skin at http://support.genopro.com/Topic25071.aspx

Hay it works thanks alot. I did not update custom skin I just use Gedcom format via the report generator.
