Dear Jakk,
It's a nice suggestion; and it's already implemented. Select multiple individual and change the color; they will all be updated at the same times. Let me know if that answer your question. Jc

Not quite. I'm not talking about the individuals, but about the connecting lines. I use different coloured family, parent, and child lines for different purposes, usually to identify families and easily see which families have married into which others. It's very useful for my genealogy of British nobility, in which each earldom or dukedom has its own family colour. In that particular genealogy, there are a lot of connecting lines, because there are a lot of people, and it would be nice to be able to change the colour of a collection of lines at the same time. Hopefully I've clarified things a bit.

It is a great shame that the once proposed 'macro' or 'scripting' feature was never implemented. I am sure the basic elements of it are already there with the Report Generator API. It would allow users to create simple extensions to GenoPro and not have to rely on new features being implemented in the base product. This suggestion from Jakk could have been easily implemented in a script by iterating over a GenoPro selection of objects and modifying some properties. Such a selection is already visible to the Report Generator. I realise that with such a tool there is potential for corruption of data and structure and it would be time consuming to build in validation checks on all operations, but I think many users would be prepared to accept an 'at your own risk' policy on this. This is on the top of my 'Wish List'.
