Hello, does anybody know how to add new health icons, I have several conditions which I would like to add which are not available on the icons which are already displayed ie. smoker, asthma and if a
person
has 2/3 conditions how can I have them all displayed??
Any advice would be appreciated.
Many thanks

GenoPro 2016 does not support custom icons. What you have are a
toolbar
where you may pick a
color
to indicate a health condition.
The good news is
GenoProX
(under development) will support 'satellite objects' which are either
text labels
or icons around an individual.

I'm hoping that GenoPro X will also allow us to redefine the predefined fill colours and border colours. I use the fill and border colours for entirely different purposes in my
genealogy
of British nobility, and being able to dissociate them from their "standard" meanings as health conditions would be very helpful. I suppose one can use the palette and custom colours to create undefined close matches, and that may be why the
option
to redefine hasn't already been added to the program.
Edit: These "satellite objects" sound very interesting. Something GenoPro has been missing for some time, I think; my fascination with genealogy began with the genealogies in the appendices to Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings" and things like his use of the "dagger" symbol † (to denote a violent
death
) have been standard in my own fictional genealogies; I have played tabletop role-playing games for over 30
years
now, and the process of creating fictional worlds and histories has been very therapeutic for me with the reality we live in.
