Please tell me how to rotate a picture that was upright when I saved it but when I added it to the genogram it is lying down rather thatn upright.

This might be a problem with the original image as not all programs use information in the header in the same way, particularly if the image has been adjusted. I would open the image using Irfan View which should show how the picture will be displayed in a browser or GenoPro. If there is a problem then rotate and resave,
