I suggest you use
Social Relationships
to link pets to people (e.g. 'living with').
Emotional Relationships
may also be appropriate.

If you're developing such a system, you might consider adding a separate category or data field for pets, with the ability to link each pet to their human owner(s). This would allow for more accurate and flexible representation of these relationships.
