Yes, that was in fact the case. I have no idea how that happened so thanks for that.
The software seems to have a mind of its own, but that's probably just my unfamiliarity with it. I don't
find
it very intuitive though.

Maybe you have only set the
display name
for the parents. You need a Family name and ideally a first name too

Really basic question but I've reread the instructions multiple times and still can't fix my problem.
I have parents with the correct children, and children with the correct
siblings
, but I can't seem to attach the parents to the children: when I double click on one of the children and then click '
Family
' in the Properties box, 'no name' appears for the parents. What am I doing wrong?
