Hello,
I need to print (or to try to print) some reports of different families from my tree.
Do someone have template of the text report ? I do not want HTML that's not usefull for printing, I need RTF or similar. In b13h there are only HTML reports.
Can someone help? I didn't found any link to the issue and samples.
Thanks !

At the moment, there is only HTML reports for version 2.0. I don't know exactly when I will re-introduce RTF reports.

Family reports in the HTML format should be available soon.

Thanks for the answer :-(.
In this case - can you tell me how to PRINT (or to export to print in another system) ALL the informations writed into GenoPro database?
I need to prepare some "books" about our family with photos, genogram (that's possible to print) and I want to include also other important informations about the family and each people (descriptions, pictures, comments....).

How to print it?

To create HTLM and then to print manually all the pages (in my case only 250 individuals - but even this is tooo much) is really nightmare. How to do it? is there a way how to hand over all the work and informations to next generations? Within 50 or 100 years nobody will know what HTML is. Only printed information can last long time.

Thanks for an advise.

i'll tell you what I do.

I downloaded the RootsMagic Demo: http://www.rootsmagic.com/demo.htm

I export my GenoPro work to Gedcom and Import it to RootsMagic, and then I use it to print all sorts of reports.

Just one thing - you must edit the GEDCOM that GenoPro compile and change all "DEAT Y" to "DEAT" otherwise everybody will be "alive" in Rootsmagic, and we dont want that...

I found no other option, atleast until GenoPro will have those options Smile

Ancestral Author from http://www.ancestralauthor.com/  is a program that takes input, such as the ged output from GenoPro, and produces a report in pdf format. This can be viewed and printed in Acrobat Reader.

The demonstration (ie free) version shows what can be done but all pages, apart from the first, have a watermark across them 'Unregistered'. You can copy and paste the first page into a word processor, but not the other pages - unless you Register $25.

There may be similar tools out there; otherwise wait for upgrade in GenoPro

Thanks for the advise: AA is a good tool unfortunatelly it do not support characters only in Western coding and you will loose all pictures:-(. Othervise it is great! Something like this inside GenoPro would be PERFECT !!!
I havce to try Roots Magic, no experience.
Native support of RTF reports inside GenoPro will be the best anyway (is you want to leave your work for future generations you need to print it, HTML is useless)...
