How can I link two different persons (A and B) to the same new social entity, when A and B belong to two different genomaps ?

My suggestion: make a hyperlinked person of A or B into the other genomap and link them.

Thank you, but it's totally out of the question, because I have some cases (of different social entities) each of them dealing with about 100-200 people (members) of same organization, from different genomaps.RECOMMENDATION for Dan: Maybe there shall also be created a possibility for Social Entities to be HYPERLINKED same as people.

Maybe you should have a new genomap for just social relationships...Persons might be hyperlinked copies of their originals so you wouldn't loose integrity of your data...

Alfi (11/10/2005) Maybe there shall also be created a possibility for Social Entities to be HYPERLINKED same as people. This is my goal. Internally, I designed the social entity to behave like the individual. The hyperlink of the social entity will eventually be a feature. At the moment, I am triming down the features to have v2.0 for January. After the release of v2.0, I can add the hyperlink and other features such as a tool for translating names.

In future, when dealing with the HYPERLINK characteristic for SOCIAL ENTITIES, please do also pay attention at the following aspect: Today, I use the OCCUPATION feature for this purpose. As "occupation" I write "MEMBER" and as "work place" I specify the name of the social entity (=organization). On this occasion, you should also think making possible a conversion from the today situation to the new SOCIAL ENTITY HYPERLINK characteristic.

Here comes a simmilar situation:
In future, when dealing with the BOOKS written/edited/printed by a specific ENTITY, please do also pay attention at the following aspect: Today, I use the OCCUPATION feature for this purpose. As "occupation" I write "AUTHOR/EDITOR" and as "work place" I specify the name of the book/article/saying/writing. On this occasion, you should also think making possible a conversion from the today situation to the new ADMINISTRATION characteristic for written/edited/printed WORKS.

Alfi (11/10/2005) ... I use the OCCUPATION feature for this purpose...Why you don't use the "edit tag" option. With them you can build a "book" and a "Social Entities" and in it you can specify the book name, the ISBN number, the editorial, etc... I think that that is one powerful thing of Genopro.....

1) I'd started filling this kind of info a long time before the edit tags.2) Anyway, after you release the version 2.00, I do need a "CONVERTOR" service/function for different fields primitively inserted as data.
