The mention of adopted doesn't appear in the report of the individual.

I am aware of this issue.  After releasing v2.0, I will upgrade the phrase generator to be smarter for creating sentenses.  The upgrade will use the ObjectRepertory to construct narrative phrases.  Using this new technology, it will be easier to create long descriptive narrative phrases and manipulate collections of objects (sons, daughters, adopted children, foster children, unknown gender, pets, etc).  The same will be for relationships (husband, wife, spouse, partner, girlfriend, boyfriend, etc).
