The two statements are evidently in conflict because of the adoption link.

According to the genogram, Harry is an only child (biologically).  The adopted children have not been included because the code is already to complicated to create narrative phrases.  After releasing v2.0, I will upgrade the phrase generator to be smarter for creating sentenses.  The upgrade will use the ObjectRepertory to construct narrative phrases.  Using this new technology, it will be easier to create long descriptive narrative phrases.

Yesterday, we published Harry Potter's genogram using a built-in feature of GenoPro.

Interestingly, this report has shown up a slight fault in the report generator where adoption is concerned. If you click on the report for Vernon Dursley you read:

Vernon's family with Petunia Evans (Dursley)

Vernon and Petunia are married (further details are not known). They have two sons named Harry and Dudley.

But if you then click on Harry Potter then it is reported:

Harry was born on 31-Jul-1980.  Harry's father was James Potter and his mother was Lily Evans (Potter).  His maternal grandparents were  Evans and  EvansHe is an only child.

The two statements are evidently in conflict because of the adoption link.

There are tons of reasons why updating a report may fail.  The FTP protocol has many shortcommings, especially when dealing with thousand of files.

My recommendation is to delete your entire report and generate it again.  It may take some time, however this is the best guarantee to work.

We are working on a solution for this: our users will be capable to publish their family tree to http://familytrees.genopro.com/.  Yesterday, we published Harry Potter's genogram using a built-in feature of GenoPro.  You are welcome to visit the result at http://familytrees.genopro.com/harry-potter/

Go step by step. Check if everything is OK with *.gno file, if it is, simply generate a new report in a new folder... If it turns out to be ok, upload whole directory on the web...

If there is an error, try looking throug source files, and compare them with *gno. Maybe will solution just appear in front of you...

If everything is OK with the *gno file, there shouldn't be any errors!

If it doesn't help, try recreating exactly what you were doing with the file/report, post it and we'll try to discover where there might be an error in template or procedure...

Several problems are cropping up: previously present pictures are missing; wrong picture shows up on an individual; requested URL/default.htm was not found on server; error 29 on several files. I've tried checking and unchecking the Update/resume function. I tried saving before generating the report. I tried going over the individual files that were marked as error 29, but I couldn't find anything wrong. I had already resized all my pictures to avoid problems, so my original posting on our website was very successful. I also successfully added a genomap of another side of the family. My recent problems occurred after I added a new addition to the family and tried to update the website. The report was never successfully updated and the scrambling of pictures occurred.
