I'm a newbie. I created my family chart. Can I print it out without those circles and squares, i.e. just with the names and conecting lines? Thx.

As far as I know you will have to change the display of your family tree and remove the signs that you don't want to get printed.

Go to the display. Select All (either Ctrl+A or use the Edit menu) Either press Enter or right click and select Properties. In the top left is a box gender Gender Symbol. Click to clear and the boxes etc have gone

To remove any information above the name you will need to ensure the box 'Hide top label (typicaly DoB and DoD)' is ticked.

Thanks. It's odd that it leaves a line sticking up at the top ones, but hey :-)

I just added the option to display Nothing as the Display Attribute. This feature will be in Beta 19d.

Would it be beter to name it i.e. "name <no gender symbol>" ?
- "εν οιδα οτι ουδεν οιδα" (Σωκρατησ) - "The only thing that I know is that I don't know anything" (Socrates)

Would it be beter to name it i.e. "name <no gender symbol>" ? Yes indeed. My post was off-topic. I replied to this post without thinking too much. Anyways, I added the feature to display no attribute because it was requested however I am unable to find the original post.
