Dear sirsI take this opportunity to extend my thankful congratulations to GenoPro. Last week-end I organized a family meeting with more than 100 family members to share the genealogy tree I have been building using GenoPro. I cann´t find the best words to let you know how meeting evved... It was really amazing, full of joy and family feelings. Thank you very much for this woderful product! Now, many members of the family are willing to complete their information and I would like to know how can we handle this. Are there ways in which each member can update its data and then have it integrated in a single file? How can I, as central coordinator, handle it? Will we require new licenses of the product? Are there global or multiple licenses? Also, I will like to know if there is a way to limit access to view the information in the cyberspace. I have loaded the Genealogy report in genopro server but then I have realized that it can be accessed by anyone in the cyberspace thru Google or other tools. I wish to limit access only to family members... How can I do so? Ok, guys, thanks again for your support. Best Regards
Un abrazo, Jaime Alfredo Lesmes Camacho

It's always great to have positive comments about the product, the best part is the new soon-to-be-released Gamma version will solve many of your questions/issues regarding a large number of users wanting to work together: the collaboration system. Me and Dan did some internal testing and it's pretty amazing, as simple as opening a file, and when you save your document, the changes are sent online and others working on the project automatically receive the updates next time reopen the file or manually synchronize their information. The collaboration system offers a live news feed for users to know what's going on for a particular project. I am pretty sure it's going to be interesting to see how it will work in big family projects.

Also, I will like to know if there is a way to limit access to view the information in the cyberspace Your family tree can be password protected on the GenoPro server. Go to Control Panel and click the Edit button. This allows you to create a Password and after that nobody, even you, can access the data without the password. You can also create a second version and use the Privacy filter to remove living people from this version, if you think this would be useful. Note that the standard method of communication at present (the tiny envelope on the home page) can only usefully be sent to forum members. Others can use it but you do not know who the sender is. You could add a link to a standard email goto, which requires a couple of lines in the Document part of the Report Writer
