I like how people can cooperate in
translating
GenoPro, right online. But: there is a lot of vandalism over the net. If somebody was to replace all my entries with nonsense text or worse, can I have a
backup
copy in order to replace the correct version? Can I keep one local version apart from that on the web? Have two
different versions
vorking side by side?

We keep every version of the translation for every languages. If necessary, we can do a rollback in a few minutes. So far, so good. We had no case of vandalism.
