Currently the best way to move your tree is to put all your picture in a subdirectory of your tree and move then along with the .gno file.
The .gno file contain the data, you should also be sure to not have the "Preserve Full Path" features as they will unlikely be at the same exact path on the other computer.

Copy all your GenoPro (.gno) file onto your USB key and all your pictures on the same folder. Then, create a new folder on your computer and copy all your files there. If you do not see your pictures, use the menu item Relink Pictures from the Tools menu.

If you have so much data then back up of the gno file is vital. I have several versions which have the date as part of the file name in case of corruption - you can then go back to an earlier time. Also save them outside the PC to memory stick or disc. One of the most useful extras available to GenoPro customers is the online backup, available on the File menu. This loads the gno file on the GenoPro server, where you can recover it in case of disaster. It also means you can use this to transfer it to another computer
