I have updated my family tree (http://familytrees.genopro.com/rogerkc/Keller/), removing some people. When I checked at the internet, they were still there. How long does it take to get it update? Was it really updated? Thanks a lot. Roger Keller Celeste

The link you give does not contain data, so perhaps things have worked. One problem with updating a site is that your PC may still contain the earlier version in cache. However when re-writing to GenoPro, having deleted a person from your tree, may not delete a file which exists there. You should not see this person as the new file will not contain any links. The other possibility is the old data may exist in cache on the internet

I am not sure if I understand, I have just checked the link and it is the same, so the link contains data, right?. |

Just tried the link and only see
Directory Listing DeniedThis Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed.
Not sure what this means here as I have never seen that message from a familytrees.genopro site before. Have you added any protection?

The publication at http://familytrees.genopro.com/rogerkc/Keller/ contains one Gedcom file, which is not valid for a web publication. To protect the privacy, the files are not listed.
If you wish to have a web publication visible to others, you must upload a file named default.htm which will be the start page of your publication / family tree.

Roger It looks as though you have successfully deleted your family tree from the server. If you can still see the data it is in a cache somewhere. This can expire or possibly be deleted. Deleting a family tree appears to have left a gedcom on the server and this will presumably contain the data you want to remove. Not much of a problem as it can only be retrieved if you load another family tree, which will overwrite the existing file (unless you opt not to load a gedcom, in which case the old one will remain and possibly be downloadable) You can delete the file directly by using the Genopro ftpclient http://www.genopro.com/help/ftp-client/
