Whilst opening up one of my
family trees
recently, I was advised that I needed to
upgrade
to version 2.5.3.9 - my original version was 1.92.0.0 - GenoPro -
Picture
Your Family tree!
purchased
November 2006 and working on WindowsXP.
After upgrading, none of my
trees
would open. The following message was received:
"Unable to read from storage 'C:\Documents and settings\Owner\My documents\GenoPro\family tree.gno'
The storage header is invalid.
GenoPro cannot continue because the data format is unknown"
After clicking 'OK', the following message appeared:
"Unable to open file 'C:\Documents and settings\Owner\My documents\GenoPro\family tree.gno'"
Would not want to start from scratch - the current tree has over 500 names on it!
