It looks good but I am so suspicious as I have been taken by things on the internet so many times. I am an Ancestry.com member but Geno Pro looks to have additional features that interest me. Any suggestions?

In addition to above ...

I use both: Genopro since 1991 and Family Tree Maker (FTM) since 1994.  I like them both for different reasons.

I am a family therapist and we frequently use Genograms (Bowen, McGoldrick, Framo, etc.) to draw out family relationships.  Genopro is the only program that does a good job of this that I know about.  It is well priced. FTM will not allow you to draw a Genogram and to differentiate relationships.

I started using FTM because it was better at researching my pedigree online at the time.  Acenstry com has been marketing and further developing this over the last few years. I don't know about Genopro in this regard.

They both allow many of the same things such as multiple pictures to be attached, individual stories to be documented, documents to be scanned in (i.e. death certificate), publishing to a web site, gedcom conversion, etc.

I find Genopro is more intuittive to use, and the new versions FTM more complicated to get to know.

I agree with above that downloading and trying it out is a good way to see if the user interface is something that works for you.
