What is the permanent ID and how does it work. Who would I make as individual #1 myself or one of the ancestors I am starting from for now? Once I designate the first permanent ID then to who, as in what order and how do I assign additional #'s? Also does this have anything to do with Family Rank and how does that work?

A Permanent ID is used internally by GenoPro to link individuals and families together when saving to the .gno file. The Permanent ID is also used when generating a report, to name the files, such as Ind-0001.htm. You may use the Permanent ID with your own database, if you wish to link additional information to an individual.

Before you can register for the issue of a permanent identity card, you will need to show that you are eligible to do so under the Registration of Persons.

I use a lot of Hyperlinks to have people appear on various genomaps, eg, child of couple on one genomap, spouse in another, godparent on multiple.
On one gno file, I noticed I appear multiple times in the Individual Display: -once as Ind0004 .. my original entry -again as Ind3098 on the Social Entities page
How do multiple Indxxxx entries work .. Is all the information the same or is some different? Do I need to be careful or do things in a certain order?
I noticed if I changed the display (eg, highlight a certain quadrant) and then hyperlinked it, the change was propagated to all the hyperlinks. However, if I hyperlinked it first, and then changed the Display on one, it one applied to that genomap, and then I had to manually go through and change all the others.
Is that correct? or was I doing something "wrong"?
Are there any other differences like that?
