I used GenoPro v. 1.90 back in 1999.Then, made family tree of aprox. 1500 names, and someone called Dan said it's need to be solved by GenoPro Gold, but we never did it. So, I'm back, 16 years after, and files are supported but separated, also in UNICODE, and need to be Serbian Cyrilic. |

GenoPro 2016 is capable to open previous .gno files with any code page, including Cyrilic.

Heh!But, now I'm impressed with new version, and need big help to fix all of 1500 names in my tree... because I have two .gno files, need to be put in one. Difficult task! I realized that there is a problem with mate/spouse relations in old .gno files. So, now I need to check all links of marriages. Also, names are in ANSI, or ASCI format, and Latin, means that some characters need to be replaced, ie. { to š, or } to ć, etc. If u like to help, I can send those files to you by e-mail, but it's not working for me via forum. Send me your address by personal message, or at my e-mail. |

Are the names showing up properly? From the main menu, File -> Import, you may select the code page to import (open) your family tree (.gno file) with a specific code page. Can you try importing with different Cyrilic code pages?
If not, please send me your original .gno file and I will investigate.

Nope, it's still LATIN, and characters like ć or š, becomes c or s.
