First of all.....thank you, thank you!! It appears my problem is solved. To answer previous questions, I have a new computer with Windows 10 and added Microsoft Word 365 plus upgraded to the latest GenoPro at the same time which left me not know knowing if this was a Windows or GenoPro problem.
Following advice from vlepore…….in GenoPro I clicked Tools/Balance the
tree
at origin, selected, copied, and pasted into a word box. The result was a huge improvement and gave me hope. However, when I pasted into a word box, I could not eliminate a margin to the left and top of whatever I pasted.
My
husband
then followed the previous steps but copied an area larger than my selection and pasted into a Word text box as before. On Word's home screen, he highlighted the pasted selection >format> crop (symbol only) , then cropped the selection. He clicked outside the text box, to turn off the cropping tool....and I could shrink, enlarge, and move the selection as before.
More complicated than with my earlier version of Word but thankfully it works....and I have crisp, clear copies as before.
I am deeply grateful to everyone who offered advice and helped me get to a solution!!!!
Elaine
