This tab is used by social workers, typically for foster children. What they do is draw a family tree (or genogram) with a child as the "focus subject", typically a square with a yellow background, similar as the Harry Potter sample genogram.
They the social worker will contact every member of the family by phone and ask if they want to be involved with the child, such as helping with shelter/housing, transportation to school, education or social activities. Our biggest clients are cities purchasing GenoPro for that purpose. There is a program in the U.S. to not put children into foster homes, but to relocate them within their family such as uncles or grand parents. Statistically a child has better odds of improving if he/she remains within his family than being relocated into a foster home with complete stranger. I realize this tab is not for everyone and considering having an option in the dialog to have it hidden by default, along with other tabs. What do you think of this option.

Thanks for this explanation. To hide this tab(or others) might be a good idea since few facts about education and/or occupation are known for individuals 200 or 300 years ago, but public engagements next to their occupation, such as member of the village fire brigade or other unpaid activities. Or mayor of the village next to the original job. Look forward to further improvements.

It is clear that GenoPro is drifting away from its original purpose of building a family tree with ancestors. I always found it funny that I was able to enter a phone number for someone who is now dead for more than 300 years.
On the other hand I can see its added value in other domains like law enforcement, medical domains, etc. So maybe we need a general 'style' tab sheet where we define the type of tree we are going to build. Similar to when you decide what type of written document you are going to produce. Is it a book, an article, a course, a guideline, a letter? Here you also adapt style and format accordingly.
I always found the table approach very interesting. The fact that you can add or remove columns of information you need or not, seems to be the way to go. You could then have a general pre-selection where you decide on the style of the GenoGram you want. Something along the lines of (1) Classical Genealogical Family Tree, (2) Criminal relations chart, (3) Animal breeding, (4) Social working, ... and the table approach would make it still possible to add or hide specific forms/fields from other styles if needed.
In the meanwhile I still do not know how I'm going to translate 'involvements'.

I think that for the time being I'll go for "zorgverleners". The word is typical "Zuid-Nederlands" (Flemish) but it means something like "people taking care of other people". Although it is primarily used as a collective name for people working in healthcare, I believe this scope can be enlarged.
