When i try to alter the parental relationship i am only given 4 options (none of which are the ones i need).  I checked the help video on the genogram website (https://genopro.com/tutorials/videos/divorce-second-spouse/) which has a tutorial that shows a full suite of options. 

And if so, any tips on fixing this?

In GenoPro 2020, go to the Menu -> Tools -> Options and uncheck the option Display Genogram Symbols for Family Relationships.
