Please find attached the Flemish (NL-BE) dictionary.xml file for version 2.0.1.6 of the Report Generator. This file was tested successfully on Windows 2000 and Windows XP. However, on (my system with) Windows Vista, it makes the Generator crash. I'll look further into this as soon as I have the time. If someone else could double check, this would be nice. The web site will be updated as soon as I have sorted out another problem with FileZilla. Enjoy.

I have downloaded the XML file and it contains invalid UTF-8 characters such as "à" which would be valid for for an ASCI file.
The file should be saved in codepage Unicode UTF-8. UTF-8 allows characters from all alphabets to be included in the file.

Done. I've replaced the atachment of the base note with a version saved in UTF-8 encoding.

I get a strange translation for burials: Zijn begraven in Plaats. (for a male) Haar begraven in Plaats. (for a female) Place and date of burial are known. Only the lowest part of the Diseased-tab is completed, not the middle part. Can you 'repair' this? Or what do I do wrong?

I was able to reproduce the error but can't find the reason. In English, the (test) report says: 
With the Flemish version this becomes: 
The "she died" is correctly translated into "zij overleed".
The "she was buried" translates into "haar begraven" where this should read "zij werd begraven". The PhBurialTxt tag reads: <PhBurialTxt V="2.0.1.6±" T="[[{?5=Begrafenis}{!4} was][{!}[{?5=Crematie}{!4} was][{!}[{?!5}{!4} werd][{!}{!0}]]]] {1!=begraven}{2}{3}." />

Hi Ron, I was looking for a mixup of parameters {0} (his/her) and {4} (he/she). But thanks for the suggestion. Although I did not see any difference with the formats I have in my version of the Dictionary, I decided to remove the translated versions of the PhBurial and PhBurialTxt definitions and replaced them by the original English ones. Guess what? The text generated is correct now, but in Dutch (!). I would have expected an English sentence. After numbering each occurrence of "begraven" to identify the tags involved, it turns out that the translation text is fetched from the "BodyDisposition / burial" definitions. I'm looking further into this now. Also, I will need to find a way to define "zij/hij werd begraven" instead of "zij/hij was begraven". Replacing "was" bij "werd". By the way, the English version of the narrative report should be looked at also. During one of my tests it generated the following sentence. 
"He was cremation (?) ..."

I think I got it. Seems that I also translated some test arguments (like {?5=Burial}) on the fly. That has been corrected now. Also the "was/werd" replacement is in place now. I'll update the base note with the new version.

I copied the 'new' Dictionary.xml into the Descendant-Report-skin in my skin-map, but it doesn't work properly. When I generate the report the box stops executing after saying: Openen configuratie Config.xml voor skin '\Descendants Report 2016R5\* (Descendants Report)'... Dictionary.xml wordt geladen... [0.00] Verwerken van template 'Main.js'... When the 'original' Dictionary.xml is in the same map then the box continues with: Openen configuratie Config.xml voor skin '\Descendants Report 2016R5\* (Descendants Report)'... Dictionary.xml wordt geladen... [0.00] Verwerken van template 'Main.js'... To enable display of parameter settings, untick the box under 'Options' tab of this dialog. What do I do wrong and how can I get the Dictionary.xml in VL working in the skin?

Yes. This has been fixed in the meanwhile. Please copy the latest version of the Dictionary.xml (I updated the base note). For one or the other reason, the PhBurial key words seem to have been processed although mentioned in the Author tags. I removed them from the author tag and it worked from then on my system. Can you give it a try? Het zou moeten werken. Veel plezier ermee.

Opgepast. Dictionary NL-BE 2015.04.07 is enkel compatibel met 2.5.4.1 (GenoPro 2011). Zo staat het ook in de lijst vermeld.
Ik heb nog geen tijd gehad om wat dan ook aan te passen voor 3.0.0.4 (GenoPro 2016). Vele onderdelen zijn van plaats veranderd en ik moet er eerst mijn weg in zien terug te vinden.
Ik heb voorlopig enkel 3.0.0.4 op een testmachine staan waar ik met het Engels verhalend rapport test.
Van zodra ik een werkende oplossing heb laat ik iets weten. Misschien kan je intussen wel verder met 2.5.4.1 tenzij je wil publiceren natuurlijk.
Morgen zit ik vast op een genealogisch congres. Even wachten dus.

Ik kon het niet laten en heb het toch even geprobeerd.
Bij mij loopt dit zonder problem. Ik heb enkel verwezen naar de NL-BE versie 2015.04.17 die met 2016 wordt meegeleverd. Ik heb niets extra geïnstalleerd.
Ik zoek verder.

Dat zou dan de 2015.04.02 moeten zijn.
Ik moet nog een en ander uitzoeken en de installatiehandleiding aanpassen.

Voor GenoPro 2016 is er een nieuwe installatiehandleiding van de NL-BE dictionary beschikbaar.

Denk eraan dat GenoPro 2011 en 2016 verschillende Config.xml bestanden gebruiken die niet kunnen gemengd worden.
Wil je dus zowel met 2.5.4.1 als met 3.0.0.4 werken dan moet je verschillende mappen met software en dictionaries aanleggen.

Hallo Nand,
Hopelijk kan en wil je mij helpen. Ik kan het narritive rapport niet kopieren en plakken en of in mijn skins krijgen. Ik heb je orders netjes opgevolgd tot punt Stap 3: Download de gewenste versie van het vertaalde dictionary.xml bestandnaar de folder die je in stap 2 hebt gemaakt. Dit zorgt er voor dat de kopievan het Engelse woordenboek wordt overschreven door de vertaalde versie Dit krijg ik dus niet voor elkaar. heb wel de eerste 2 stappen kunnen doen. Ik heb paar jaar niks gedaan met Genopro omdat t zo moeilijk is. Nu de nieuwste versie gekocht 2016 en helaas werkt het nog niet. Ik wil dus graag gedcom bestand maken en html rapportage. Zou zo fijn zijn als iemand mij kan en wil helpen? Alvast vreselijk bedankt Vriendelijke Groet Clementine Huisman

Merk op dat er met GenoPro 2016 standard een NL-BE versie wordt meegeleverd.
Je hoeft dus om te beginnen niets te downloaden tenzij je de allerlaatste versie van de NL-BE dictionary wenst te gebruiken.

Het probleem is dat het rapport niet werkt. dus als ik het maak, dan kan je niet alles aanklikken en foto's zie ik ook niet meer. Heb nu geprobeerd om mijn bestanden bij te voegen. Mocht dat niet werken dan kan ik het misschien naar een email adres sturen. Zou wel super zijn als ik het krijg opgelost. Geen een rapport werkt bij mij.. graag advies Alvast vreselijk bedankt en vriendelijke groet Clementine
