Traduction en français des fichiers Dictionary.xml et config.xml pour GenoPro 2011.
Ces fichiers sont des remplacements pour les fichiers en anglais dans le rapport narratif de produire un rapport en français.

J'ai suivi tel quel les informations relatives du site pour la traduction du rapport narratif, mais j'ai à chaque fois le message d'erreur suivant:
[2.24] Traitement de 'scripts\calendarevents.js'...
Erreur dans Config.xml à la ligne 594: Fichier source 'scripts\calendarevents.js' introuvable.
Il y a-t-il une solution? J'aimerais vraiment finir par offrir un rapport narratif en français à ma famille!

Perhaps you have not followed the instructions correctly. It seems that your skin folder for the narrative report is missing at least one file, scripts\calendarevents.js. I recommend that you delete your skin folder and try again http://www.genopro.com/translation/narrative-report/

Bonjour
Je ne suis pas informaticien mais je pratique la micro informatique depuis plus de 30 ans, ce qui m'a permis d'expérimenter une bonne partie des erreurs possibles.
Je viens de reporter mes données gedcom dans Genopro 2011 et j'en arrive au point où je souhaite les comparer avec les informations détenues par d'autres membres de ma famille qui ne sont pas tous familiers de la langue de Shakespeare.
J'ai crû comprendre qu'il était possible de modifier le skin pour obtenir un rapport en français mais lorsque je clique comme indiqué sur le bouton "Edit skin" j'obtiens le warning suivant :
(Mon PC est un HP HPE sous W7 64 bits)
J'ai regardé par ailleurs aussi bien dans le dossier program files (x86)\genopro que dans Genopro\reports : je ne vois aucune trace des fichiers indiqués dans ce Tchat :skin, Name dictionary.xml, ou Dictionary.xml ou enfin config.xml. Où sont-ils ?
Merci d'avance à celui qui peut me sortir de cette impasse.

Thanks very much, I replaced config.xml and Dictionary.xml with the downloaded customized ones and it seems to work perfectly. Any need to bring any change to Namedictionary.xml ?

No need for changes to NameDictionary.xml as by default it is empty. I do however recommend that rather than use the built in skin as a base you download the latest English Narrative Report skin and and copy the French Dictionary.xml into it. Do not copy in Config.xml as the latest version has the French Config built in.

I am using GenoPro 2011 v2.5.4.1 is there any most recent English Narrative Report skin and where can I find it.
Sorry for this naîve question but I am still not very familiar with all the specificity of this powerful software.

Sorry, I am lost again : I have downloaded the file Narrative_2012.09.20.zip put it in the "skin" directory and replaced the Dictionary.xml file with the French one. Surprise all the reports are now again in English : where was I wrong ?
Additionally I noticed some little mistakes in the translation (prior my last changes) e.g. "individuels" should read "individus". How can I fix that ?

Did you unpack Narrative_2012.09.20.zip into a folder BELOW the skins folder you selected under the 'Options' tab? e.g. into a folder called 'Narrative_2012.09.20'. This folder name will then appear in the drop down list of the 'Generate Report' dialogue.
You can edit Dictionary.xml as required e.g. search for 'individuels' and replace with 'individus'

Vous essayez de créer un repertoire ou un fichier à l'intérieur d'un répertoire bloqué: "program files", bloqué par le système. Lancez Genopro en mode Administrateur, ce qui autorisera la création.
