I understood the new feature just to put pictures into the genogram which I did easily with the context menu 'Insert Existing Picture' (see left schreenshot). But the result in the Genomap (.pdf) after running the Report Generator shows instead of the pictures an error message 'Linked image not found (see right screenshot). What did I do wrong or where is the description of this new feature in the Help site?

Just ran a test with Inkscape 0.48 installed and the latest Narrative Report skin and seems to work fine (see example http://familytrees.genopro.com/genome/Gaunt/default.htm)
PDF output was only added to the Narrative Report in the earlier days as a stop-gap when there was virtually no browser support for SVG. Now all modern browser have built-in SVG support. If you really want a PDF version of your GenoMaps then it may be better to use a PDF printer direct from GenoPro (e.g. PrimoPDF)

You should always try to use the latest Report skin as posted on this forum to gain the benefit of enhancements and bug clearances. Unfortunately the main GenoPro download is only updated when GenoPro itself changes, not when there are updates to report skins.
Follow the link in my previous post and download the zip file. The post with the zip file also has a link to a post that explains how to install it.

I did like you suggested a report run with the new skin Narrative_2013.04.28 but now there are lots of errors indicated. I will post them one by one in separate Topics because they are different depending on whether the report is in German or English and whether the output ist sent to familytrees.genopro.com or to my own domain or to a local file.
