I opened up my family tree and it's telling me that my license has expired and trying to get me to purchase a new one. I purchased a lifetime program. I have the disk and the jewel case to prove it. There was never any mention of five years when I bought this program, why have things changed?

Your registration can be found at http://collaboration.genopro.com/Account.aspx. It presumably has got lost on your PC so re-enter it

That is telling me the same thing. It says that I had a temporary license only good for a month and that it has expired. I didn't pay for the disk to have it expire a month later. It says nothing about expiring on the jewel case.

Sorry about confusion. I did not look at your jpgs. The disc does say Licensed by PCTREASURES,INC and I suspect that they are the problem. Can you contact them? I have never known GenoPro issued on a disc - it is a fairly modest download. If you purchase from their site then your registration is on their database.
One other point. Google has data about PCTREASURES and GenoPro Gold. This was version 1 which originally was freeware. If your disc contained v.1 and you have upgraded to the latest version, as shown on the forum, this would explain what has happened. If this is the case you can still use your data on the original program; however it will ignore some information that is recorded in v.2.
