Getting errors trying to check for Updates and trying to upload a Tree

Hi there,

I'm getting the following error when trying to upload a tree:
  Connecting to server familytrees.genopro.com...
The attempt to connect to the server failed; please verify firewall settings, server name and port number
    https://api.genopro.com/ws.asmx

I get the following error when checking for updates:
Connecting to GenoPro.com to determine if a newer version of GenoPro is available for download...
The attempt to connect to the server failed; please verify firewall settings, server name and port number
    https://api.genopro.com/ws.asmx



What needs to be fixed?

It appears your computer is blocking the application GenoPro from accessing the web.  Can you try to turn off your firewall or antivirus for 10 minutes and try again with GenoPro.
