Yesterday I asked a question about a problem with my newly purchased genopro on another board.

The answer was download & use the beta version. If I do this will the current trees I am working on be available. Does everything automatically transfer to the beta version?

NB I had previously been using the free version for a few months.

Your tree will be safe Smile

GenoPro Beta opens the .gno files without any problem. In any case backup your tree in case you will want to go back to the official version (1.99) because the Beta version changes the file structure of the tree to meet all the changes.

Your data is safe using the Beta.  Many users on this forum have been using the beta for a long time ( Whistling ), without a single reported case of data loss. Of course, the beta has little bugs here and there, but nothing to affect your data.

Thanks for the replies. I have downloaded the beta version and tried it out. You are right it is much easier to use than version1. My naming problem was solved in seconds.

This support board is the best I have come across. Very good to know that problems can be sorted out quickly.
