Perhaps I'm missing an option.

When I enter dates such as 15 Jun 1918 it is coverted to 15/06/1918 (Australian format}.

Has this changed? - I seem to remember the alpha format for the month was preserved.

Also:-

The dates in the report drop the day - the date above becomes 06/1918 or Jun 1918.

Is there an new option to select the date format?

Yes. Beta 16 has a new support for different calanders.

If you want to change it, enter one of the persons in your family tree and select either the birth or death tab (where you have a date in). Right click in the date field and in the pop-up menu you will get to select different formats.

The default is what your control panel has (which is the Australian format). Select English to return to the format GenoPro used to have (dd mon yyyy).

By default, the Privacy Filter is enabled when generating a report.  The privacy filter removes the day of all living individuals.
