If refer to a define Place, e.g. for birth, and then regret it, it's not possible to reset it back to Unknown.

Also, will it be possible in the future to add your own Enumeration values?
E.g for Places, I'd like Town , District, Suburb, Parish, Island etc.

Sure, you can always clear the value of the place.  Just select the place name and hit Delete/Backspace.  Then click OK.
