At the first test run after installing the new program I get this message:

What's happening and how do I fix it?

I would appear that there is a problem with Windows Scripting on your system. I suggest you download and re-install Windows Script 5.6 from here

Also you are running a custom skin - was this your intention? Other errors can occur when you run a custom skin that was extracted from an earlier version of GenoPro.

The error 8002801D means the library is not registered.  Have you seen Error message 8002801D generating report?

Many thanks for the prompt reply and the advice.   I followed the suggestions including reading the message to which you referred.  Doing so has fixed the problem.  (I would have thought that XP's auto update routines would have picked up and corrected the need for a scripting update.)  Thanks again.
