Hi

Is it possible to gonfigure the gedcom export tool (via the report generator) to get the folowing format?

1 NAME a / b /

2 GIVN a

2 SURN b

2 _MARNM c

a = "First Name" Field  (of genopro)

b= "Second last name"  field (of genopro)

c= "Family name / maiden name / surname" field (of genopro)

Please note the I have to switch between parameter "b" and "c" becouse on genopro I put the "marriage surname" under the "family name" field and the "maiden name" under the "second last name" field. on other programs - I must switch betwen those fields.

Today - the format of the gedcom that genopro creates is like this:

1 NAME a / b     c /
  which is not good for me.

You can do a lot with GenoPro's phrase generator. Smile Try this:

Create a custom skin for Export to Gedcom and edit Dictionary.xml

Replace

<NAME T="0 @{1}@ INDI{\br}1 NAME[ {2}][ {3}][ {4}] /[{6}][ {7}]/{\br}[2 GIVN[ {3}][ {4}]{\br}][2 NICK[ {5}]{\br}][2 SURN[ {6}][ {7}]{\br}][2 NPFX[ {2}]{\br}][{?8}[2 {!0}DISPLAY {9}{\br}[3 {!0}FORMAT {10}{\br}][3 {!0}LINES {11}{\br}]][2 {!0}FULL{\br}[3 {!0}FORMAT {12}{\br}]]]"/>

with

 <NAME T="0 @{1}@ INDI{\br}1 NAME[ {2}][ {3}][ {4}] /[{?7}{7}][{!}{6}]/{\br}[2 GIVN[ {3}][ {4}]{\br}][2 NICK[ {5}]{\br}][2 SURN [{?7}{7}][{!}{6}]{\br}][2 _MARNM [{?7}{6}]{\br}][2 NPFX[ {2}]{\br}][{?8}[2 {!0}DISPLAY {9}{\br}[3 {!0}FORMAT {10}{\br}][3 {!0}LINES {11}{\br}]][2 {!0}FULL{\br}[3 {!0}FORMAT {12}{\br}]]]"/>
