Hi
I am thinking of buying GenePro to draw my
family tree
and put it on your
web server
. Many of my extended
family
have
pictures
of various relations, and may also be able to correct my best guesses relating to distant ancestors. Is it possible to give other
family members
on line access to add pictures and make changes?
Thanks
Nideros

The next version of GenoPro is intended to do just what you want. This will be a paid for
upgrade
and other people using this will also need a licence. Having said that, they do not need a licence to view the data, so can
send
you pictures and edits now and also if you decide to take the upgrade

Thanks. Is there any approximate forecast date when the next version will be released?

Not seen a time
scale
. However a
collaboration
module, which will be the basis of the system, has been available for test/use for some time. However I suspect there is still a way to go.
Have a look at

Problem is there are not many alternatives. PhPGedView and WebTrees are free programs but need advanced facilities on a server and a bit of competence to get going. Do not have the facilities of GenoPro
There are a few other
subscription
services
