Hi

I've combined two GNO files into one big file, by copying all individuals from the first gno (CTRL-a + CTRL-c) and then paste it to a new Genomap on the second GNO (CTRL-v).

The problem is that I have now duplicated "places", sometimes with the same name (which is a wrong thing)

How can I merge those places into one object, or the better solution for me: How can I move all the references of one "place" to another "place". after that i'll just delete the "empty" place.

for example: I'd like to move 200 references from one "place object" to another "place object" which already contains 100 references. the result that I would like to achieve in the end, is that the first place object, would contain 300 references and the other place object would contain 0 refernces and then would be deleted.

Use the 'Delete' option at the bottom of the Table Layout Menu. When you then delete a Place that has references to it, GenoPro provides a dropdown list of Places for you to select a replacement place from. Exactly what you wanted.

Same goes for other object types, e.g. Sources
