I'm using Ver 2.5.3.9. I have a
tree
with a tab in which all the people are marked as "Exclude from
Report
/Make
Label
" and also all the
families
in that tab are also marked "Exclude from Report". When I export the whole document via the report writer to
gedcom
the
individuals
are not exported, however the families are (without any members as they had been excluded) but with notes etc that I would not expect to
find
in the Gedcom.
Is this a "feature" or a bug in the export mechanism. How can I prevent the "families" ending up in the Gedcom.

Yep this is a bug
BobC.
I'm surprised it has gone undiscovered all this time. Hopefully the revised skin at
Latest 'Export to Gedcom' Report Skin
fixes it.

Thanks - the
new skin
seems to fix the problem. I suppose it went unnoticed because a
marriage
without parents or children doesn't show up very well in most software. I was validating a Gedcom with GenJ when I noticed on the timeline families in a period I didn't expect to see any.
