Please help!

I last used GenoPro in 2008 on my work computer. Its a long story but all these years later I have lost all the Family Tree research data I had on my external software. The only info I now have is what is on GenesReunited and my report on this site.

Can someone please explain how I can export the data from that original report? Will I have to purchase GenoPro? I can't remember what software I original used to generate the report I can see now.

i look forward to hearing from anyone who can help me out of this very frustrating mess!

Many thanks,

Liz

It is not completely clear what you have got. If you have your data on GenesReunited you can download it from there as a gedcom file, which all genealogy programs can read. You also say you have a report on this site. Do you mean http://familytrees.genopro.com? and if so is this a series of web pages. If so you will have access to the .gno file needed to carry on extending your family history. You may also have a link which will allow you to download a gedcom, although that might have been disabled when you wrote the report.
To carry on using Genopro you do need a licence. You can download a copy of the software from this forum but to save new data you need some sort of licence. If you ever bought a licence it is still valid and http://www.genopro.com/registration/account-recovery/ has information about how to find it.
You will need some sort of program to carry on your family history. You can ask for an evaluation key to re-aquaint yourself with GenoPro. If you do not have anything you will need some sort of program. Legacy7 is available in a  free version but has a different approach to family history. (Start learning again) It also lacks the free access to web storage; with GenoPro you can host your report (hidden if you want to) on the web and also have online back-up of your data
