Hello.
See this example:
http://s1.bild.me/bilder/160512/8434476bce.png
All fields were typed manually.
There is no automatic calculation when using B.C.E dates.
Is there a way to turn off the pink background for these fields?
Thank-you.

Old story, but I do no think, that is there any change:

GenoPro version 1.70 was been released in January 2000... since then, many features have been added to GenoPro.  Using GenoPro 2007, you can enter BC dates as text.  GenoPro will display such dates with a pink background and won't perform calculations, such as determining the age of the individuals for such dates.

would solve the problem this way:

after the acquisition of the dates, click save - click yes

so appears on the genomap (only small problem with "-" sign)

 so in "Narrative Report"

 so in "Descendants Report"

Everything seems ok! The context makes clear that we are BC.

In acquisition is a small problem:
dates of birth and death, must be acquired at the end,
else you do not exit, because the control persecute you after each character entered.
