Hi All

I'm new to the forum but have used GenoPro for many years but several times i have seen mention of 'your skin' such as the following statement taken from a posting.

Create a folder in your skin, name this folder i.e."myfiles" and place all your documents you want to upload into this folder.

What is the skin you mention, as under C:\Program Files (x86)\GenoPro i have the following;- Samplefiles folder, Genopre program and uninstall.

cheers

Peter

GenoPro's Report Generator produces reports from sets of templates and configuration files known as 'report skins'.  Several are built-in to GenoPro but you are able to customise these and even develop your own reports  (or 'skin').  Each custom report or each of your own skins will have their own folder under the main 'skins' folder.  The location of this main folder is defined under the Options tab under the Tools menu 'Generate Report'.  You should choose your preferred location there.  Updates to the built-in skins, e.g. Narrative Report, are published on this forum and can be downloaded and unzipped into a folder below the skins folder in order that may be used.  see also http://www.genopro.com/sdk/Report-Generator/ for programming info.

You have not provided a reference to the post you quote but it appears to refer to a technique to add extra files into a published web report e.g. by creating a folder 'myfiles' under say a custom Narrative Report skin (use 'Edit Skin' under 'Generate Report' to create a custom skin). Any files you place under 'myfiles' will get uploaded to the report location when you generate a report via that custom skin.
