If you start GenoPro the getting started tips give these answers. However as soon as you add anything, these tips get overwritten. If you start an extra display (Ctrl+N) you can see the tips again.
Basically you select a person and right click, which opens a menu with the option of adding the relative you want. After a time you learn that the key presses (eg M. P, S, D etc) give the relative you are wishing to add
