Hello,
is it possible to join places variants in NameDictionary.xml (_B) in TOC of places into one as in names?
This does not work:
<N P.CS="Praha 1" P.CS_B="Praha" />
<N P.CS="Praha 2" P.CS_B="Praha" />
Thanks for help.

I cannot see how this could work. With individuals with the same last name are grouped under the same header level, with places this is not the case. Also I assume a place could have completely different names depending on which country 'occupied' it at the time, thus there is no sense of a root or base name. You could possibly use hierarchical places and say have a place named Praha as a parent place of Praha 1 and Praha 2 or perhaps parent of (a.k.a. Praha 1) and (a.k.a. Praha 2) so that both are shown under Praha in the index (a.k.a. TOC).

I want to use hierarchical places. Praha is parent place of Praha 1 and Praha 2. How to display only Praha in TOC?

You can set Presentation Config Param 'Show child Places and Sources in index separately as well as with parent' false so that they are only shown under parent. You cannot prevent them from being shown entirely.
