I
am
a
college
student
,
assigned
to
create
&
nbsp
;
2
genograms
for
one
of
my
classes
.
The
first
was
a
sample
.
No
names
were
provided
so
I
labelled
the
subject
'
s
grandparents
&
nbsp
;
by
filling
in
the
"
Display
Name
"
boxes
with
&
nbsp
;"
paternal
grandpa
"
etcetera
.
My
teacher
said
there
was
no
need
to
do
this
.
I
see
her
point
,
but
it
looks
like
I
was
docked
marks
(
not
nice
for
me
).
My
question
...
is
this
wrong
,
optional
,
or
unnecessary
?
I
don
'
t
want
to
make
the
same
mistake
twice
,
nor
do
I
want
to
be
docked
marks
if
it
wasn
'
t
a
big
no
-
no
.
Thanks
for
feedback

Do
not
think
you
were
'
wrong
'
here
.
If
you
had
names
then
it
would
have
been
obvious
what
the
relationship
is
-
and
so
need
to
show
it
.
Can
not
see
why
you
had
to
produce
a
3
generation
genogram
if
there
are
no
details
,
unless
it
was
an
exercise
in
creating
a
tree
.
I
would
not
expect
to
put
in
any
family
if
there
were
no
details
about
either
of
them
.
You
often
have
an
example
where
one
parent
is
know
n
and
the
other
is
not
but
in
that
case
there
is
no
need
to
label
the
relationship
as
the
genogram
visually
shows
it
-
which
is
why
I
