Greetings-
Great app
but I've had the same problem for
YEARS
: Epson WP-4020
print
er. Want to
print
portrait mode onto 8 1/2 x 14 in rear MP tray. In
Page Layout
, 0.5" margins, centered,
Paper
Dimension &
Print
able Area same at 8 1/2 x 14.
Print
er
Setup
, rear MP tray, 8 1/2 x 14. All hunky-dory, it seems.
EVERY TIME (for years), I get the following in
Print
Preview (
screenshot
)--and that's just the way it
print
s. What's supposed to
print
is
not
centered on what appears to be the
image
of the
paper
and that's what happens. I've just updated from several years ago;
same problem then, same problem now
. Exasperating!! How can I fix this??
And BTW, what does Topic Key mean? How does one use it (if at all)?

Hi Ken,
At first I did
not
see what was going on here until I
not
iced you said
Paper
Dimension &
Print
able Area were set to the same values. Ordinarily
Print
able area should be
Paper
Dimension less margins. It seems that setting
Paper
Dimensions in the Page Layout dialogue screws things up!
So set the the
paper
size in
Print
er Setup and leave
Paper
dimensions in Page Layout to its default (which should be as per
Print
er Setup) . If you have set any values for
Paper
Dimensions in Page Layout then select these and press Delete key to reset to default. You should then see that
Print
able Area is
Paper
Dimension less margins.
Hope this
helps
As regards 'Topic Key' do you mean the 'New Topic' button on this forum? If so this is used to create a new thread/topic/post in the forum.
