Hi
all
,
Due
to
a
hardware
(
or
possibly
windows
corruption
issue
),
I
'
ve
had
to
clean
install
Windows
to
a
new
HDD
and
reinstall
programs
from
scratch
.
As
part
of
this
process
,
I
have
to
reinstall
GenoPro
but
I
'
d
like
to
recover
the
configuration
settings
I
had
from
before
if
at
all
possible
.
I
'
m
hoping
I
can
recover
these
from
backups
and
/
or
direct
access
of
my
old
HDD
.
Can
anyone
point
me
in
the
right
direction
as
to
where
I
can
find
my
old
settings
so
I
can
reinstate
them
on
my
new
HDD
?
Many
thanks
.

GenoPro
settings
are
held
in
the
Windows
Registry
under
Key
&
nbsp
;
HKEY_CURRENT_USER
\
SOFTWARE
\
DanMorin
.
com
\
GenoPro
If
you
can
still
run
Windows
on
the
old
HDD
thrn
you
could
run
RegEdit
to
export
that
key
and
then
import
on
to
your
new
Hdd
,
otherwise
you
will
need
to
get
the
registry
file
NTUSER
.
DAT
from
your
old
user
profile
folder
and
then
use
RegEdit
File
/
Load
Hive
to
acccess
that
key
and
move
the
data
accross

Oh
great
,
that
'
s
very
useful
.
I
should
be
able
to
access
my
old
Windows
Registry
and
export
the
settings
.
Fingers
crossed
...
Many
thanks
