subscription
mechanism seems to be broken (at least for me).
I no longer receive notifications of new posts although the
options
have been set.
Am I the only one?

I did not realise what you had said. I normally refresh the
site
on a regular basis and not follow particular threads. So you must be right; part is broken.
I remember that a long time ago it was said the forum software had been brought in and changes were not possible. If this is so then change may have happened externally
